Add a task after creating a new deal in Livespace via Zapier

How does Livespace internal integration via Zapier work?

  1. You add a deal in Livespace.

  2. Zapier automatically adds a new task to Livespace associated with that deal.

Zapier setup:


Step 1 - Trigger

  1. Log in to your Zapier account and select Create -> Zaps.

2. Find Livespace in the apps list and select it.

3. Then in the Trigger event select the New Deal option.

4. Let Zapier connect to your Livespace account.

5. In the new window, enter your Livespace data (you can find them in your Livespace account, in the Account Settings > API > Users tab):

  • Account name, for example abc.livespace.io

  • API key and API secret of the selected user.

6. After entering and saving your data, click Continue.

At this stage, it is worth adding a test deal in Livespace so that Zapier can download sample data for further configuration. If you have more than one deal, select the one whose data you want to use when creating the last step and confirm with the Continue with selected record button.

Step 2 - Action

  1. Go to the next step – action. Select the Livespace application.

  2. Set the action to add a new task: Create Task.

  3. During setup step 1, your Livespace account was already connected, so select it and proceed by pressing Continue.

  4. Enter a task name. If the task is due the same day it is added, enter the word today in the Date from field. To assign the task to the correct deal, set the Deal ID value in the Deal field, select Continue and test the Zap.

5. After a successful test, enable Zap with the Publish button. Done!

A new task will appear on your Livespace instance every time a new deal is created.
