Kanban is a tool, which supports project and process management. At the same time, the Kanban system itself allows you to organize the process in such a way that each employee, department or team delivers exactly the part that is required at the moment.

Kanban board consists of columns, each of which presents one of the steps in the sales process, and contains tasks related to the particular stage. Thats why in the Board view, the Sales process filter is limited to selecting only one process at the time. You cannot view deals from multiple processes on the Board simultaneously.

Kanban Board as a view in Deals

In Livespace, the Deals tab offers many views, one of them is Board view. Only deals with an open status are visible at the Board. If the settings remain unchanged, then you’ll see the default sales process (you can change it each time).

The column names follow the names of the stages of the selected sales process.

Under the name of the stage you will find the sum of the values of the deals located in the stage and their amount, and in the following section you will find a list of the deals with their names, values and associated companies.

Task statuses

An important element of the Board view is information about the current status of tasks in the deal. In Livespace this information is presented in the form of a dot in the deal field. The colors mean as follows:

  • White – no tasks

  • Gray – tasks scheduled for later

  • Green – tasks planned for today

  • Red – overdue tasks

Stage duration

In the process settings, you can indicate how much time each stage should take. If it is overdue, the background of the deal will change to red.

If you hover the cursor over a deal tile, you will be shown how long it has been at the particular stage, and by how many days the time has been overdue.

Contacts

In the Board view, you can also display a list of people associated with the deals and the company. From here, you can also add a contact for the company and the deal.

Add contact - a form to edit the deal is displayed, where you can fill in the missing data.

Filtering

In the Board view, the Filter function is also available, as in other types of views. Thanks to the filters, you can choose, for example, only the deals of particular Owner, or those in which a specific activity has been completed.

List operations, export and saved filters

You can also use list operations, which allows you to ie. add tags to deals or send an email campaign to contacts linked to the deals.

To download the list of deals to an XLS or CSV file, use the Export option.

Saving the selected filters, in turn, also allows you to use them in other places, such as Statistics.
