Import contacts from Microsoft Outlook 2010

You can import contacts that you already have in Microsoft Outlook 2010 into Livespace CRM. However, you need to export them first.

In this article we described:

Export contacts from Outlook

  1. Open Outlook 2010.

    Otworz Outlook

  2. From the Outlook ribbon, select File.

  3. Click Options.


  4. Click Advanced.

  5. Under the Export section, click Export.

  6. In the “Import and Export Wizard”, click Export to a file.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Under “Create a file of type”, choose Comma Separated Values (Windows).

  9. Click Next.

  10. Under “Select a folder to export from”, choose the contact folder you want to export.

  11. Click Next.

  12. Under “Save exported file as”, click Browse and select where you want to save the file.

  13. In the “File Name box”, type a name for the file.

  14. Click OK.

  15. In the “Export to a File” dialogue box, click Next.

  16. Click Finish.

Now all you have to do is import the file into Livespace.

Import contacts to Livespace

In order to do that:

  1. Go to the Account settings and select Import and Export from the left-hand menu.

  2. Press the Import new file button located on the right side of the window.

3. In the window that opens, you can either drag and drop a .csv, .ods or .xls (.xlsx) file with data, or you can simply click the Add a file button.

4. After the file has been uploaded, you will see the first rows of data from it.

5. Match the rows from the file with the Livespace fields (the fields can belong either to the profiles of people or companies).

6. After the file has been successfully imported, a confirmation message will show.

7. From now on, the newly imported contacts will be visible on your contact list.
