Add a contact to Livespace after completing Google Forms

Do you use customer surveys? Specific answers are often the prelude to establishing a closer business relationship. Use the Livespace integration with Zapier to link your Google Forms survey so that when a potential customer selects specific answers in the survey, a new contact is automatically added to Livespace!

How does the Google Forms integration with Livespace work?

  1. A new response to your survey appears in Google Forms.

  2. Zapier automatically adds the new contact in Livespace.

Zapier configuration

  1. Log in to your Zapier account and select the option Create-> Zaps

2. Select the application that will trigger the action, the so-called Trigger App. Find Google Forms in the list of apps, in Trigger event select New Form Response. In the Account field, connect to your Google account where the sheet is located.

When connecting to your Google account, allow the Zapier app to access the forms.

Once you have completed your details, click Continue.

3. Zapier will take you to the Configure tab, here select the appropriate form from the list, then click Continue.

4. The next stage is to take a test and find one answer, which will be the basis for the data entered into Livespace.

5. Set up the action.

Select the Livespace app, the action it should perform- Create Person and link your Livespace account to Zapier.

To add an account, provide:

  1. instance name, for example abc.livespace.io,

  2. API key and API secret of the selected user or API User.

    You will find these details in your account at Livespace > Account settings > API > Users.

As in the earlier step, allow Zapier to connect to your Livespace account.

Click Continue.

6. Zapier will take you to the configuration. Select which fields from the survey you want to save as contact fields in Livespace and assign them accordingly.

If you have created additional fields in your Livespace account that should populate when you fill in the form, map their IDs with the fields on the form.

You can find the IDs of the additional fields in Account Settings > API. In this way, fields relating to both companies and persons can be completed.

At the end of the tab, you have the option to add tags and set the visibility of the contact.

Continue.

7. Finally, test the integration you have created (optional).

A message will appear indicating that a contact has been added with the correct Zap setting.

Publish Zap. Ready!

A new contact will appear on your Livespace instance every time someone completes a survey in Google Forms.

Note: If the form will be completed by people already in your CRM contact database, select Search or Create Person as the action in Livespace.
