Using Google Sheets to gather information about new leads? Integrate them with Livespace via Zapier so that when you add a new row in your spreadsheet, a new deal is automatically created.

How does Livespace external integration via Zapier work?

  1. Add the new deal information in a new row in Google Sheets.

  2. Zapier automatically adds these rows to Livespace as a new deal.

Zapier setup:

Step 1 - Trigger

  1. Log in to your Zapier account and select Create -> Zaps.

2. Find and select Google Sheets in the apps list.

3. Then, in Trigger event, select New Spreadsheet Row.

4. Allow Zapier to connect to your Google account. Zapier will open a Google authentication window. Indicate the account where the spreadsheet you need is located. Then, allow Zapier to access your Google Sheets data.

5. After entering and saving the data, click Continue.

6. Select the appropriate document and sheet in Google Sheets from the list and click Continue.

At this stage, it is worth filling out the form as a test so that it downloads sample data useful for further configuration.

7. At the end of this step, click Test Trigger. The data will appear, based on which you will create further actions. After selecting the appropriate row from the sheet, click Continue with selected record.

Step 2 - Action

  1. In this step, we will add a company with which the deal will be created. First, you need to find Livespace on the application list and select the tool.

  2. As the Action event, select Create Company.

  3. Allow Zapier to connect to your Livespace account. Select Sign in to Livespace.

4. In the new window, enter the data from Livespace (you can find it in your Livespace account, in the Account Settings > API > Users tab):

  • Account name, for example abc.livespace.io

  • API key and API secret of the selected user.

5. After entering and saving the data, click Continue.

6. Using the + icon, expand the list next to the Company name field and select the field from which the company name is to be downloaded to Livespace.

Additionally, you can also set other fields, such as: source of acquisition, phone number, NIP, guardian and others.

7. After setting all fields, press Continue, and in the next window test the configuration settings.

Step 3 - Action

  1. The last step remains – adding a deal. Go to the configuration of the next step – action. Click + and select Livespace. Then select an app from the list of proposed ones.

  2. Set the action to add a new deal: Create Deal.

  3. During the configuration of the previous step, the account in Livespace was already connected, so select it and proceed by pressing Continue.

  4. Enter the name of the deal and select the company name from the form to which the deal will be associated, or enter your own name.

5. If the deal was associated with a company added at the same time, in the next step click on the Company field and select the company you created earlier.

6. Choose what data from the Google Sheets you want to appear in the deal, such as who owns the deal or what the closing date is.

7. Test the Zap.

8. After a successful test, enable the Zap with the Publish button. Done!

A new company and deal will appear in your Livespace instance every time a new row is added to the Google sheet.
