Would you like every contact added in Livespace to be available in your Outlook? Connect it with Livespace using the Zapier app to access your contacts on any device where you use Outlook.
How Does the Livespace Integration with Outlook Work?
Step 1 – Trigger
1. Log in to your Zapier account and press Create -> Zaps.
2. Select the application that will trigger the action, the so-called Trigger. Find Livespace in the list of apps.
3. Select the New Person option.
4. Connect Zapier to your Livespace account. Select Sign in to Livespace.
5. In the new window, enter the data from Livespace (you can find it in your Livespace account under Account Settings > API > Users):
Account name, for example: abc.livespace.io
API key and API secret of the selected user.
At this stage, it is worth adding a test person in Livespace so that Zapier can download sample data for further configuration. To do this, press Test trigger.
If you have more than one person, select the one whose data you want to use when creating the last step and confirm with the Continue with selected record button.
Step 2 – Action
Go to the next step configuration – action. Select the Microsoft Outlook application.
Set the action to add a new contact: Create Contact.
Log in to your Microsoft Outlook account.
After logging in, in the newly opened window, select Continue and proceed to configuring the connection to Outlook.
Define which data should be sent from Livespace to specific fields in Outlook. The basic set will be to indicate the contact's first name in the First name field and last name in the Last name field. Assign the contact's email to the Email address field, and the phone number to Business Phones.
6. In the following lines you will find many other fields that you can fill in in Outlook with data downloaded from Livespace - but you can also skip them - then the new contact in Outlook will only have the first name, last name, email address and phone number downloaded from Livespace.
7. Once you have assigned all the necessary items, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the Continue button.
The zap is created. Finally, test and run it. Done!
