Do you want to reconnect with customers whose deals have become inactive? Use Livespace's integration with Zapier so that when an deal's status in Livespace changes to inactive, a new task automatically appears reminding you to contact that customer.

For won and lost opportunities, we have a solution in Livespace itself. The solution is described in this article.

How does Livespace integration via Zapier work?

  1. You change the status of a deal in Livespace.

  2. Zapier automatically adds a new task to Livespace.

Zapier configuration:

Step 1 – Trigger

  1. Log in to your Zapier account and press +Create New Zap!

  2. Select the application that will trigger the action, i.e. Trigger App. Find Livespace in the list of applications.

  3. In Trigger event select Change in Deal Status

  4. Select your Livespace account in the Account field.

If you were not logged in to the instance via Zapier, connect Zapier to your Livespace account. Select Sign in to Livespace

In the new window, enter your Livespace details (you can find them in your Livespace account, in the Account settings > API > Users):

    Account name, for example abc.livespace.io

    1. Account name, for example abc.livespace.io

    2. API key and API secret of selected user.

  5. Select Continue after adding your Livespace account.

  6. At this stage, test the trigger. Select one of the deals in Livespace and change its status to inactive. This can be a test deal added for the purpose of preparing the integration. Remember that Zapier will retrieve sample data from it for further configuration, so fill in the fields that are relevant to you.

A window will automatically appear with a selection of applications for the next step. Select Livespace.

Step 2 – Filter

  1. Add a step between the trigger and the action by pressing ‘+’. Select Filter from the list, which will allow you to specify that the flow should only cover status changes to inactive.

  2. Configure the filter condition so that only deals with the status inactive match. For example: Status name contains inactive.

Step 3 – Action

  1. Proceed to the configuration of the next step – action.

  2. Set the action to be adding a new task, i.e. Create Task.

  3. During the configuration of step 1, the Livespace account has already been connected, so select it and proceed.

  4. Enter the name of the task, the date and select what data from the deal should appear in it: for example, link it to a contact or deal or add a description.

For the date, you can select the field with the status change date and add the number of days counted from that date. If you want to follow up after about 3 months, set {{field with status change date}}+90d.

  5. If you want to link a task to an object, find the appropriate ID and set it in the relevant fields.

  6. Test the Zap and check if the task has appeared in Livespace with the correct data.

If not, check the previous steps; if so, run the automation.

Congratulations!

A new task will appear on your Livespace acoount with a reminder to re-contact each inactive deal.
