Want to stay up to date on every deal you win? Connect Slack to Livespace using Zapier, and a message will automatically be sent to your chosen Slack channel when a deal is won.

How does Livespace integration with Slack work?

1. You win a Livespace deal.

2. Zapier automatically sends a message to the selected Slack channel.

Step 1 – Trigger

1. Log in to your Zapier account and click Create -> Zaps.

2. Select the app that will trigger the action. Find Livespace in the list of apps.

3. Check the Change in Deal Status option.

4. Connect Zapier to your Livespace account. Select Sign in to Livespace.

5. In the new window, enter the data from Livespace (you can find it in your Livespace account, in the Account Settings > API > Users tab):

Account name, for example abc.livespace.io
API key and API secret of the selected user

At this stage, it is worth winning a test deal in Livespace so that Zapier can download sample data for further configuration. If you have more than one deal, select the one whose data you want to use when creating the last step and confirm with the Continue with selected record button.

Step 2 – Filter

1. In the next step, select the Filter option, which will indicate that only after winning the deal will a message be sent to the Slack channel.

2. Configure the filter conditions so that only deal with the status Win match: Status Name / (Text) Contains / Win and confirm with Continue.

3. Zapier will test the filter and if it is correct, you will be asked to re-approve it by clicking Continue.

Step 3 – Action

1. Go to the configuration of the next step – action. In the field for searching for apps, select Slack.

2. Set the action to Send Channel Message.

3. Log in to your Slack account.

4. Allow Zapier to use your Slack account by selecting Allow. Then proceed with the Continue button.

5. In the next step, select the channel to which the message about the winning deal is to be sent, and edit the message template. You can use sample templates, which will be replaced by unique data about the winning deal.

In this step, you can also customize the details of sending the message, including specifying a name for the bot sending messages or adding a preferred icon.

6. After filling in all the details, click Continue.

7. Test your Zap using the Test step button. After a positive test, publish it. Done!

A message will appear in your chosen Slack channel when a deal is won.
