How to authorize your e-mail account?

Due to the new solution, we are implementing in the area of Livespace integration with e-mail accounts, it is necessary to authorize your e-mail account connected to Livespace. In this article, you will learn how to do it.

How to authorize an IMAP e-mail account as a user?

  1. Go to Profile Settings to the E-mail Accounts section. If your account connected to Livespace using the IMAP protocol requires authorization, a yellow triangle icon will be displayed next to it on the left.

If you do not have permission to manage your mailbox in Livespace, please contact your account administrator.

2. Click the Authorize button on the right.

3. You will be redirected to a form where the required fields should be completed.

  • Login - full e-mail address

  • Password - the password you use when logging into the mailbox

  • Security protocol SSL/TLS - we recommend enabling security

  • IMAP server address and port number - the address of the server where your e-mail address is located
    โ€‹(you can get this information from your email provider or IT department in your company)

  • SMTP server address and port number - (you can get this information from your email provider or IT department in your company)

4. Confirm the changes with the Save button. After successfully authorizing your email account, the yellow triangle icon will disappear from the list.

The first sync of your account may still be in progress, but your account is now fully functional and you don't need to wait to complete to send and receive messages.

How to authorize an IMAP e-mail account for other Livespace users as an administrator?

  1. Go to Account Settings to the E-mail Accounts section. If any account connected to Livespace using the IMAP protocol requires authorization, a yellow triangle icon will be displayed next to it on the left.

  2. Click the Authorize button on the right.
