Do you want your client to be kept up-to-date on the progress of the sales process?

Using the Zapier app, you can connect Livespace with SMSAPI and automatically send SMS messages after changing selected stages.

How to Connect Livespace with SMSAPI in Zapier:

Step 1 – Trigger

  1. Log in to your Zapier account and tap Zapier -> Create -> Zaps.

2. Select the app that will trigger the action, the so-called Trigger App. Find Livespace in the list of apps.

3. In the Event field, select Change in Deal Stage.

4. Let Zapier connect to your Livespace account.

5. In the new window, enter your Livespace data (you can find them in your Livespace account, in the Account Settings > API > Users tab):

  • Account name, for example: abc.livespace.io

  • API key and API secret of the selected user.

6. After entering and saving your data, click Continue.

At this stage, it is worth adding a test deal in Livespace so that Zapier can download sample data for further configuration. If you have more than one deal, select the one whose data you want to use when creating the last step and confirm with the Continue with selected record button.

Step 2 - Filtering

1. Select the Filter by Zapier step from the list on the left.

2. Configure the filters:

  • Process name (choose from the dropdown) -> (Text) Exactly matches -> Process name.

  • Substage name (choose from the dropdown) -> (Text) Exactly matches -> Name of the action after which an SMS is to be sent.

3. Confirm by pressing Continue.

If everything is set correctly, you will receive a confirmation.

Step 3 – Action

  1. Go to the next step – action. Find and select the SMSAPI application.

  2. In the Event field, select Send Text Message.

  3. Log in to your SMSAPI account by pressing the Sign in button and accept the required accesses. Then select the Continue button.

4. Configure action:

  • Sender name - select the name of the SMSAPI sender from the list, which should be displayed for the recipient.

  • Phone number - select Company Phone or Contact Phone from the list, depending on whether you want to send an SMS to a Company or a Person associated with the deal.

  • Message - enter the message content.

  • Normalize Characters - the True option replaces special characters, including diacritics, with their equivalents. For example, ą with a, ę with e, etc.

5. Confirm the settings with the Continue button.

6. Perform a test send using the Test action button.

Zap is created. Done!
