The Finance tab is a handy list of all Product amounts that have been defined in Livespace. Unlike the list of Deals, in this tab the main element in the list is the defined amount resulting from the forecasted and realized value of the Products.

In the basic view of the Finance tab, you have a view of five key columns (if Differentiate between forecasted and realized value option is turned off):

  • Product (its name)

  • Date (consistent with closing date, or date added within particular Product if this option is turned on in settings)

  • Amount

  • Price

  • Value

Or view of 4 key columns (if Differentiate between forecasted and realized value is turned on)

  • Product (its name)

  • Date (consistent with closing date, or date added within particular Product if this option is turned on in settings)

  • Value

  • Type (Forecast or Realized)

You can turn on / off Differentiate between forecasted and realized value option here

Costs addition in the Finances tab

If you enable cost addition in Livespace, values related to costs will also appear in your view if they are added to the Deals. If you have forecasted / realized option turned on, it will be shown exactly the same as with regular Products. If it is turned off, Costs will be shown as overall (within forecasted / realized division), again, just as in case of regular Products.

Worth knowing:

The Finances tab works just like any other list, so you can save your own filters on it to have convenient access to current data, according to the filters you set. You can read more about saving filters in this article.

If you want to view the data as a table, change the view settings to Column View. You can also create your own custom view

You can quickly export the data to an Excel file using the .xls file icon at the top right of the list, and then further process the data outside of Livespace.
