After you have imported and added contacts to Livespace, you can create your first deal. It can be a current deal or one that is already closed. When you do this, you will understand more about how deals work in Livespace.

Adding a deal in the Deals section
If you want to add a new deal go to the Deals page and press the Add a deal
In the displayed form:
define which client the Deal refers to by entering the company's name and the contact person's first and last name,
customize the name of the Deal,
indicate the source from which it was obtained,
set the forecasted closing date,
enter the value of the sales opportunity or the products;
Complete the remaining fields and save the changes using the Add button.
Quickly adding a deal
Instead of going to the Deals tab, you can use the plus (+) button to create a new deal.
In order to do this:
Click on the plus (+) button in the upper right corner of the page and select the Deal button.
The same deal form will come up.
Adding a deal on a contact’s profile
What can also be considered a comfortable way to add a new deal is doing it right on a contact’s profile (it can be either a profile of a company or a person) that you can find listed on the Contacts page. Once you have opened a contact’s profile, you will find there an area called Deals with this company or Deals with this person — and the Add link. In this area, you will find all the deals that are linked to this particular contact. If there are no deals listed, all you will see will be the Add link which you can use to create a new deal with the contact.
Worth to know
If you want the Company’s Tax ID, person’s e-mail and person’s phone to be visible also in the deal form, enable the appropriate option in the tab Account settings > Deals > General:
If you often add similar sales opportunities (with the same products or recurring descriptions), you can use the option to copy a sales opportunity. You'll find it on the sales opportunity profile by opening a menu icon in the top right corner:
You can add additional fields to individual objects (people, companies), including Deals, based on your needs. This option is available in Account Settings, under the Forms tab, Additional Fields, Deals.
