The acquisition source in Livespace is the source from which a given deal or contact (person or company) comes. Completing the acquisition sources will allow you to, among other things, obtain information about which of them provide deals of the highest value, or where we most often acquire customers from.

Turning acquisition sources on
To enable acquisition sources, go to Account Settings -> Sources, and then enable acquisition sources.
Here in this tab, you can also add new acquisition sources, as well as edit or delete existing ones.
After enabling support for acquisition sources, the option to select a source will appear in the forms for adding and editing companies, people and deals.
Automatic sources transitioning from companies to deals and people
After adding a company, you often also add the people working there and deals you have with that company. Certainly, in many cases, the sources of acquisition for the company and the people and deals added to it will be the same. You can configure Livespace settings so that the acquisition source that appears in a contact (company or person) is automatically set in contact or deals associated with a given contact.
To enable this option, go to Account Settings -> Sources, and then enable the option to set the acquisition source to person or company by default.
โ
From now on, the acquisition source set in the contact will be automatically filled in the form for adding new contacts or deals assigned to that contact. The feature doesn't work retroactively. Acquisition sources won't be automatically filled in for existing objects.
At any time, you can automatically change the acquisition source indicated in the form to another one you will choose.
