Suspend, remove or restore a user

As an Administrator, you can suspend and remove users. You can restore suspended users at any time.

This article describes how to perform each of the listed options.


How to remove a user?

Removing a user means their account will be completely deleted from Livespace. However, any data they added into the system, like contacts or sales opportunities, will stay in Livespace. Use this option if the selected account is no longer needed.

❗️A suspended user cannot be restored.

Go to Account Settings-> Users-> Actions -> Remove User.

Select the date on which you want to remove the user. You can choose from two options: immediately or on the date the assigned seat is paid for.

Important: If the seat of the removed user will not be used, remember to remove it by selecting the option: Remove the seat as well. The fee is charged for active seats, not users.

The data entered by the deleted user will remain in Livespace.

If you want the removed user to appear on lists and in filters, select the option Show deleted users on lists filters at the bottom of the page.

How to suspend a user?

The suspend user feature lets you temporarily block a user's access to their account. This option is useful if a user won't be using their account for an extended period, but you don't want to remove it. User restoration is described later in this post.

Go to Account Settings-> Users-> Actions -> Suspend User.

Select the date on which you want to suspend the user. You can choose from two options: immediately or on the date the assigned seat is paid for.

Important: If the seat of the suspended user will not be used, remember to remove it by selecting the option: Remove the seat as well. The fee is charged for active seats, not users.

The data entered by the suspended user will remain in Livespace.

How to restore suspended user?

To restore a suspended user, go to Account Settings->Users.

Check the number of seats to see if there is an available position. If not, add one.

Go to the list of suspended users, select restore from the available actions and assign to a free seat.

The user will become active again and will be able to log in to their account.
